You will need to supply length, width, capacity and hull I.D. numbers before we can register/renew your boat. Boats in Iowa renew by April 2005 and owners will need to supply this information, if it isn’t already on your registration. All boats must be current before they can be transferred to a new owner.
ATV/SNOWMOBILE registrations expired December 31, 2004. Please stop by to renew unless you use it strictly for farm use. If you buy an Atv/Snowmobile, the registration must be current and you will need the title.

January 3, 2005 marked the unveiling of the new statewide Motor Vehicle Software System. The office was closed to the public on January 3rd so that we could get our entire title and plate inventory entered into the system. We also spent the majority of the day doing transactions that we had received in the mail from the previous week. There have been a few bugs to work out but overall things are going well. Please continue to be patient with us as the process with be slower until we get accustomed to where to find the information we need. Please remember to bring in your renewal notice or plate number when you come in to renew and it will go quicker.
The Disabled and Senior Low Income tax credit forms arrived in our office this week.
